Learn how to easily connect your Instagram business or creator account to Influencity, enabling you to streamline content scheduling and publishing
Before You Start
To connect your Instagram account to Influencity, it must be a professional account—either a business or creator account.
Tip: If your account is currently personal, you will need to convert it to a professional account first.
Additionally, per Meta's requirements, your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook page. Instagram permissions are granted through Facebook, so this connection is essential. If your Facebook page is already linked to your Instagram account, connecting the page will happen automatically.
How to Add Your Instagram Account
To connect your Instagram account, here are the steps to follow:
Step 1: Check Your Account Type
Be sure that your Instagram account is either a business or creator account. Convert your personal account if necessary.
Step 2: Link Instagram to Facebook
Make sure your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook page. This is required for connection.
Step 3: Connect it to Influencity
Go to your Influencity dashboard and click "Connect an Instagram Professional Account."
If you haven’t connected your Facebook Page before, a pop up will show up asking you to follow the steps.
Step 4: Log in to Facebook
Once the Facebook popup appears, log in to your Facebook account to grant Influencity access to both your Instagram and Facebook page.
Note: If your Instagram is correctly linked to your Facebook page, it will automatically connect once you link the Facebook page.
Once the connection is complete, you can begin scheduling and publishing posts directly to Instagram via Influencity.
