Simplify Your Pinterest Posting and Learn How to Easily Schedule and Post Using Influencity
Pinterest has simplified its content formats, merging them into two types: image pins and video pins. Here’s how you can schedule and post your Pinterest content using these updated formats.
Format Types
You can now schedule and publish either image or video pins. Please note, multi-page pins are no longer supported—multi-image or video pins will be merged into a single video pin format. Carousels will soon be supported and published as videos.
Note: Once your content is published via Influencity, you can promote your posts directly from Pinterest, using the original format you set.
How to Schedule Content
Follow these simple steps:
- Go to the Scheduling tab in the top menu.
- Click + Create new post and select Pinterest.
- Upload your image or video file. You can also select a still frame from your video as the cover.
- Add your caption (up to 500 characters).
- Adjust Global Settings: Enable the URL shortener or choose SmartLinks.
- Pinterest Settings: Choose or create the board where you want your pin. Optionally, add a title and include a link.
- Select the time and day for your post and save.
Tip: Make sure to enable the "use new pin format" if you want to adopt Pinterest’s latest format recommendation. This option will be saved for future posts but can be deactivated at any time.
