Influencity AI Connector: Prompt Library
Learn how to make the most out of Influencity's AI connectors with our prompt library
This library gives you copy-and-paste prompts for everything the Influencity AI connector can do today in Claude and ChatGPT: check credits, read and compare profiles, run trackings and build campaign reports. Replace anything in [square brackets] with your own details.
The connector is an MCP server, a standard way of letting an AI assistant use another product's data and actions. It works through your brand's own Influencity API access, so it only sees the brand you chose when you signed in. You type in plain language, the assistant picks the right tool, and the answer comes back as a table, a summary or a draft text.

Changes something or uses credits. The assistant shows a preview with a "Cost:" line first and does nothing until you confirm. The preview expires after 10 minutes. |
Varies, see each prompt |
Before you start
- Your brand needs the API add-on, and you need an Influencity user with email and password (Google sign-in and SSO are not supported).
- Connect Influencity in Claude or ChatGPT (web or desktop app) using the installation guide in the Knowledge Base.
- One connection works with one brand. To work with another brand in Claude, disconnect and connect again choosing that brand.
- In Influencity, a campaign is called a tracking. You can say "campaign" in your prompts, but the assistant will look for trackings.
Check your credits
Start here when you plan to analyze profiles or add creators to trackings. Checking is free and shows two separate balances: profile analyses (a quota per period) and tracking slots (how many profiles can sit in active trackings).

Prepare a client conversation |
Summarize my remaining Influencity credits in two sentences I can paste into a message to my team. |

What to expect: the assistant reports what is left and what the limit is. No limit means unlimited. In the second prompt the connector supplies the balances, and the assistant does the comparison with your numbers, so check that the math matches what you intended.
Find and read profiles
Use these prompts to look at creators who are already saved in your Influencity account (your IRM). Reading is free. The connector looks a profile up by social network and username, or by profile ID.

|
Prepare a brief |
Using the Influencity data for @[username], write five bullet points I can paste into a creator brief. Separate the facts from your own interpretation. |
Read · free |
What to expect: the assistant returns followers, averages, engagement, the biggest audience slices, credibility and the estimated price where the data exists. Estimated prices are estimates, not the creator's real fee.
If it says the profile is not in your IRM: the connector only reads profiles already saved in your account. It cannot search for creators you have never added. Add the profile first. If an analysis is still running, the assistant will tell you, and you can ask again a few minutes later.
Add and analyze profiles
Adding a profile to your account is free. Analyzing it (the step that produces audience and credibility data) uses one profile analysis. Analysis and refresh work on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Twitch only.

Update an older analysis |
Refresh the data for @[username] on [TikTok]. |
Action · 1 analysis |
|
Tidy your account |
Delete @[username] on [YouTube] from my Influencity profiles. |
Action · free, permanent |
What to expect: for analysis and refresh, the assistant shows a preview with a "Cost:" line and your remaining balance, then waits for you to confirm. If you do not confirm, or 10 minutes pass, nothing changes. Analysis runs in the background, so the data may take a few minutes to appear. Ask for the profile again later.
Good to know:
- Asking to analyze a profile that is already analyzed returns the data you already have, free, without a preview.
- Refresh only works for profiles that were analyzed before.
- Deleting is permanent. It is refused if the profile is in an active tracking, so remove it from the tracking first (see "Create and manage trackings").
- If you have no analyses left, the assistant will say so. Check your balance (see "Check your credits") or contact your account manager.
Compare creators
Compare two to five creators side by side. The connector lays the data out next to each other and does not rank or recommend. Any ranking or shortlist comes from the assistant, so ask it to separate data from judgment.

What to expect: a side-by-side table. If some creators are not analyzed, the assistant lists them separately. Analyzing them only happens if you ask, after a preview with the total cost.
Check before sharing: a recommendation is the assistant's interpretation of the numbers. Review it against your campaign goals before it reaches a client.
List trackings and read publications
A tracking collects the publications that match your campaign hashtags, mentions or keywords, or follows one creator's profile. These prompts read that data. All of them are free.

What to expect: a table of trackings with ID, name, status, type and dates, or a table of publications with metrics such as likes, comments, views, shares, saves, impressions, interactions and engagement. Captions are shortened to 140 characters. Publications are returned in pages of up to 100, so for large trackings ask for the next page or use a campaign report (see "Campaign reports").
Good to know: when you filter by status or name, the connector checks up to 2,000 trackings per request. If the assistant finds several trackings with similar names, it will list them with their IDs so you can pick one.
Campaign reports
This is where the connector saves the most time. One sentence builds a report from a tracking: volume, creators, totals, engagement, top content and weekly evolution. Building the report is free. Turning it into text for a client is the assistant's writing, so you stay in charge of the final wording.

What to expect: a report built from up to the 5,000 most recent publications in the tracking. Larger trackings are marked as partial. Interactions follow the platform's report formula and do not include views, which have their own row. A "0" is a measured zero and "—" means no data. When only some publications have a metric, the report says "based on N of M publications". Engagement shows the median first. If any publication exceeds 100%, the report warns you; check those figures in the platform.
Check before sharing:
- Ask the assistant to quote figures exactly as they appear in the report and to calculate nothing new unless you ask.
- The slide outline is text. Whether the assistant can build a finished PowerPoint file depends on the assistant and plan you use, not on the Influencity connector.
Create and manage trackings
Every prompt here is an action. The assistant shows a preview with the cost and waits for your confirmation before it changes anything. Creating a tracking is free, but the creators you attach use tracking slots.

What to expect: a preview that states what will happen, the "Cost:" line and your remaining quota. Confirm in the chat to go ahead, or say no to cancel.
Things the assistant will ask you for or enforce:
- A new tracking needs a unique name, a start date (today or later, in UTC), an end date and at least one hashtag, mention or keyword, up to five of each. Dates are never filled in for you.
- Adding creators to a paused tracking costs no slots until you resume it. A finished tracking cannot accept new creators.
- Removing creators from a campaign tracking keeps the publications already collected. Profile trackings cannot have creators removed.
- You can pause or resume up to 20 trackings at once. Influencity has no scheduled resume, so "pause until January" means asking again in January.
- Refresh needs the feature in your plan and has a minimum time between refreshes. If you ask too soon, the assistant tells you how many hours remain.
Track several creators in one go
When you have a list of creators and want them in a tracking, one prompt can do the whole job: look each creator up, add the ones missing from your account, optionally analyze them, create or find the tracking and attach everyone. You see a single preview with the total cost.
|
Use it to |
Prompt |
Type · cost |
|---|---|---|
|
Add a list to an existing tracking |
Add these creators to my "[tracking name]" tracking: [Instagram @user1, TikTok @user2, YouTube @user3]. Show me the total cost first. |
Action · up to 1 slot per creator |
|
Start a new campaign with a list |
Create a tracking called "[name]" from [start date] to [end date] for #[hashtag] and track these creators: [list]. |
Action · up to 1 slot per creator |
|
Add and analyze in one step |
Track these creators in "[tracking name]" and analyze any that are not analyzed yet: [list]. Give me the total slots and analyses in one preview. |
Action · slots plus 1 analysis per profile analyzed |
What to expect: one preview with the total cost. If the cost has changed by the time you confirm, nothing is written and the assistant asks you to review a new preview. The limit is 20 creators per request. If part of the job fails, the assistant reports what was done, what failed and how to finish.
Tip: give the network next to every username, for example "Instagram @name". Usernames can exist on several networks.
Illustrative workflows
These are illustrative use cases. They show how to chain prompts. Adapt the names, dates and networks to your own accounts.
Weekly client update (agencies)
- Find the right campaign: "List my active trackings and show the one called [name]."
- Build the data: "Build a campaign report for [name]."
- Add the story: "Write a short update for [client] using only figures from the report. Flag anything marked partial."
- Review the text yourself, then send it from your own email.
Pre-campaign creator shortlist (brand marketers)
- Check your balance: "How many analyses and tracking slots do I have left?"
- Add candidates for free: "Add these five creators to my Influencity profiles without analyzing them: [list]."
- Compare what you already have: "Compare them side by side and tell me which ones are missing audience data."
- Spend credits deliberately: "Analyze the two missing ones and show me the cost first."
- Ask for a view, then decide yourself: "Which of them fits [audience]? Separate data from your judgment."
Launching a campaign tracking (social media teams)
- "Create a tracking called [name] from [start] to [end] for #[hashtag] and @[handle], and add these creators: [list]."
- Check the preview, especially the "Cost:" line, then confirm.
- A week later: "Show the 20 latest publications in [name] and flag any marked as sponsored."
- At the end: "Build a campaign report for [name] and pause the tracking."
Freeing tracking slots (any team)
- "List my active trackings with their end dates."
- "Pause [tracking A] and [tracking B] to free tracking slots." Only active trackings can be paused.
- "How many tracking slots do I have now?"
Because pausing and resuming change slot use, ask for the balance again after any change.
Tips and troubleshooting
Write better prompts
- Name the network and username together, for example "Instagram @name", and use the exact tracking name.
- Ask for the cost first whenever credits are involved: "Show me the cost before you do anything."
- Keep data and opinion apart: "Mark which points come from Influencity data and which are your judgment."
- Ask for exact figures: "Quote the numbers exactly as they appear and do not estimate anything new."
- Split large jobs: do one action at a time unless you are using the multi-creator prompts in "Track several creators in one go".
- Write in your own language. The assistant answers in the language you write in.

Staying in control
- Nothing that uses credits, pauses or deletes runs until you confirm.
- Disconnecting in Claude or ChatGPT does not delete the API key created in your brand. To remove it, go to Settings, then API Key, and revoke it in Influencity.
- The data the assistant reads is sent to the AI provider you chose, under your own agreement with that provider.
