      How to Schedule and Post on TikTok with Influencity

      Learn how to schedule and publish your TikTok videos using Influencity

      With Influencity, you can schedule and auto-publish your TikTok videos for both personal and professional accounts. Just ensure the auto-publish button is enabled.

      If you want to use options not yet available through the API, such as adding trending music, you can opt for manual publishing.

      For manual publishing, Influencity will send you a notification. This will redirect you to the TikTok app, where the video will be saved in your phone's gallery, and the text will be copied to your clipboard. You can then add final touches and publish the video directly from TikTok.

      Multimedia Content

      You can post the following types of content depending on your account type:

      • Personal account: video or photo (up to 20 images in a carousel)
      • Professional account: video only

      Requirements

      Video:

      • Format: MP4 (recommended) or MOV
      • Size: Up to 500 MB
      • Duration: 3 seconds to 10 minutes for automatic publishing
      • Resolution: Minimum 540px
      • Audio bitrate: 128kbps recommended

      Photo:

      • Size: Up to 20 MB per image (if using a carousel)
      • Format: JPEG or WebP
      • Resolution: Up to 1080p

      How to Schedule Your TikTok Video or Photo

      1. Go to the Planning tab in the top menu.
      2. Click on + Create new post and select TikTok.


      1. Upload the photo or video (you can select a frame from the video as a cover).
      2. Add the copy, including mentions with the @ symbol or hashtags.
      3. Global Presets: Activate the auto-publish button (you can also enable the URL shortener and select Smartlinks).
      4. TikTok Presets: Customize privacy options and other settings.

      Note: The TikTok API does not support line breaks, so separating paragraphs is not possible.


       

      Note: Privacy options are only available for personal accounts if activated in TikTok.

      1. Select privacy settings from the dropdown menu:
        • Public: Anyone can view the post.
        • Friends: Only followers you follow back can view the post.
        • Only me: Only you can view the post.
      2. Set additional options for videos or photos:
        • Allow comments
        • Allow random music (for photos): TikTok will add random music, which you can edit later on TikTok.
        • Allow duet
        • Allow stitch
        • Commercial content (personal accounts only): Indicate if you're promoting goods or services.
      3. Select the time and date, then save the post.

      Remember, photo publishing is only available for personal accounts.

      Manual Publishing

      To manually publish, disable the auto-publish button, which removes TikTok settings from the calendar.

      When it's time to post, you'll receive a notification. Upon clicking the notification, you’ll be redirected to TikTok. Click "Create video," and add the video saved to your gallery. If you receive the notification via email, remember to save the video manually to your gallery first.

      Finally, you can add effects, sounds, a cover, or any other enhancements. The post's text will be copied to your clipboard, so all you need to do is paste it in the "Text" section before publishing.
