Learn how to negotiate campaign details with brands or agencies
If a brand invites you to a Casting Call or you apply through a link, you can now negotiate campaign terms directly on the landing page, no emails or spreadsheets required.
Review the Brief
Once you’ve been invited to collaborate on a campaign or have signed in, your first stop is the Casting Call landing page. This is where everything starts. It’s the space to review the campaign brief, understand the requirements, and see what’s open for negotiation before making any moves.

Step 1: Open Your Personalized Casting Call Link Invitation or Visit the Link
You’ll either have received an invitation via email from the brand or agency or seen the call on a website or someone shared it with you because they thought you could be a fit.

Click the Casting Call link in the message, this will take you directly to your personalized campaign landing page.
Here, you’ll find:
- A clear overview of the brand, campaign, and objectives.
- All relevant details, deadlines, and deliverables.
- The option to review and negotiate specific terms.
Pro tip: Open the link on the desktop to easily view all sections and fill out any required information.
Step 2: Explore the Brief Section
At the top of the landing page, you’ll see the Brief, the campaign’s roadmap.

This section outlines everything the brand expects from you, such as:
- Campaign goals (e.g., awareness, conversions, product seeding).
- Target audience.
- Content guidelines, hashtags, or messaging tone.
- Posting schedule or event participation (if applicable).
Step 3: Scroll Down to the Agreement Section
Below the brief, you’ll find the Agreement section, this is where you’ll see what parts of the offer are negotiable.
You’ll notice two types of fields:
- Negotiable: Editable fields where you can suggest changes (e.g., fee, content formats, delivery dates).

- Non-negotiable: Locked sections that the brand has marked as fixed (e.g., rights, exclusivity, or legal clauses).

Each item is clearly labeled, so there’s no confusion about what can or cannot be adjusted.
Step 4: Get Familiar with the Layout
Here’s what you’ll typically see on your page:
- Step 1: Brief: Campaign summary and expectations.
- Step 2: Application form: Your personal and account details.
- Step 3: Agreement: All negotiable and non-negotiable sections.
Send a Counteroffer
Once you’ve reviewed the campaign brief and agreement details, it’s your turn to respond. If there’s something you’d like to adjust you can easily send a counteroffer directly from the Casting Call page.

Step 1: Negotiate!
Scroll through the Agreement section and look for the items marked as “Negotiable.” These are the areas where the brand is open to flexibility.

You can modify:
- Your fee or compensation (e.g., suggest $1,200 instead of $1,000).
- The type or number of deliverables (e.g., remove a live session or add an extra post).
- Dates, event attendance, or other custom terms depending on the campaign.
Non-negotiable fields will be locked, those can’t be edited, so focus on the flexible parts that matter most to you.
Tip: Adjust only what’s necessary to make the partnership mutually beneficial. Too many edits can slow down approval.
Step 2: Add a Short Comment
Every counteroffer is stronger with context. Use the comment box to briefly explain your changes.

For example, “Happy to create two Reels instead of one post — this format performs best for my audience” or “Adjusted fee based on my engagement rate and average deliverables for similar campaigns.”
These comments give the brand valuable insight and show professionalism, helping them understand why your proposal works better.
Step 3: Sign and Send Your Counteroffer
Once your edits and comments are ready:

- Click “Send Counteroffer.”
- Confirm and send it, it’s that easy.
Your offer will be logged automatically in the system, along with all your proposed changes and notes and the other part will receive an email alert to let them know about your counteroffer.
Every step is time-stamped and stored securely, so you always have a record of what you proposed and when.
Step 4: Next Steps
After you send your counteroffer:
- The brand or agency receives an instant notification.
- They can review your proposal, accept it, make adjustments, or send a new offer.
- You’ll be notified by email whenever there’s an update, no need to refresh or chase responses.
Accept or Re-Negotiate
Once the brand reviews your counteroffer, it’s your move again. This is where collaboration truly takes shape, where both sides fine-tune the details until the partnership feels right for everyone.
Get Notified Instantly
You’ll receive an email notification as soon as the brand replies.Click the link in your email to open your Casting Call landing page, where you’ll see the brand’s latest offer and any comments they’ve added.
Review the New Offer
Once inside your page, scroll through the Agreement section again.

Here, you’ll see:
- All the brand’s updated terms (highlighted for easy comparison).
- Your previous counteroffer (for context).
- Any comments or feedback they’ve shared about their changes.
This transparency helps you quickly spot what’s new, whether it’s a revised fee, altered deliverables, or updated deadlines.
Choose Your Next Move
You have two options once you’ve reviewed the updated proposal:
Accept and Sign
If the brand’s offer looks good to you:

- Click “Accept and Sign.”
- Add your name and date to finalize your agreement digitally.
- The system automatically updates your status to In Campaign.
Note: No contracts to download, no separate emails — just one click to seal the deal.
Send Another Counteroffer
Still need to adjust something? No problem. You can modify any negotiable field again. For example, tweak your rate or adjust the number of deliverables and click “Send Counteroffer.”

You can even add a short comment to explain your reasoning and keep communication open and professional.
Repeat Until You Reach an Agreement
You and the brand can exchange as many offers and counteroffers as needed until you both agree on the final terms. There’s no limit, the system keeps track of every round, with a full history of offers, edits, and comments available for review.
