Lists allow you to organize profiles and influencers efficiently, enabling effortless workflows for outreach, payments, or program management.
In this article you’ll learn how to:
- Differentiate between profiles and influencers
- Create, manage, and use lists for various tasks.
- Convert profiles into influencers and integrate them into outreach or payment modules.
- Handle bulk actions to save time and avoid duplicates.
- Implement advanced use cases, such as audience overlap analysis and campaign-specific filtering.
If you don’t have a list yet, you can create one in a few steps. Here’s a step-by-step guide to understanding and maximizing its use:
Differentiate between profiles and influencers:Understanding Profiles vs. Influencers
- Profiles: Represent individual social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, TikTok).
- Influencers: Encompass a person or entity who may have multiple associated profiles.
Note: Profiles need to be converted into influencers for activities like outreach or payments. This cross-functionality ensures smooth integration across all platform features.
Step 1: Creating and Managing Lists
You can create two types of lists:
Adding Profiles and Influencers to a List
- Select the profiles/influencers you want to group.
- Create a new list or add them to an existing one.
Pro tip: Convert Profiles to Influencers
- If profiles in a list are not yet associated with influencers, you can use the Create Influencers function.
- The system will automatically generate influencers for the selected profiles.
- Once created, influencers can be used for payments, outreach, or program inclusion.
Lists help organize profiles for specific tasks, such as outreach or analysis.
Step 2: Adding to Outreach, Programs or Payment Features
Outreach: Only influencers can be added.
- Select profiles from a list, convert them into influencers, and then send them to outreach campaigns.
Programs: Similar to outreach, only influencers with valid email addresses can be added.
- Select profiles from a list, convert them into influencers, and then send them to programs.
Payments: Similar to outreach, only influencers with valid email addresses can be added.
Example Workflow:
- Select profiles from your list.
- Create influencers from these profiles.
- Send influencers directly to the outreach or payments module.
Step 3: Bulk Actions
Use the bulk selection feature to process multiple profiles or influencers at once. Actions include:
- Adding to lists.
- Converting profiles to influencers.
- Sending influencers to outreach, payments, or programs.
Pro Tip: Avoid manually selecting items page by page. Bulk actions streamline the process for larger datasets.
Step 4: Visibility and Duplication Management
Avoiding Duplicates
When sending lists to outreach or payments, the platform automatically prevents duplicate entries.
Existing influencers in the target module will not be duplicated.
Maintaining List Properties
Each list retains its unique properties, such as aggregated data or platform-specific profiles. For example, a list of influencers can be converted into profiles to calculate audience overlap.
Advanced Use Cases
- Audience Overlap Analysis: Convert influencer lists to profile lists for in-depth analysis, such as calculating audience duplicity across platforms.
- Reversing Lists: Create lists of profiles from influencers when needed (e.g., for campaigns requiring platform-specific data).
Best Practices
- Use Lists for Bulk Workflows: Save time by grouping and managing profiles or influencers in bulk.
- Regularly Update Lists: Keep lists current by adding or removing profiles and influencers as campaigns evolve.
- Communicate Changes Clearly: Ensure team members understand how lists integrate with other platform features.
