Learn how to include Profiles to a list in your IRM
If you don’t have a list yet, you can create one in a few steps.
Adding Profiles to a List from Discover
- Once you’ve found a profile that interests you, click Add to and then Lists. This allows you to associate this profile directly with a list.
- You’ll be asked if you want to analyze this profile for the cost of one monthly analysis. If you click Yes, analyze, you’ll now have access to this profile’s full KPIs and these KPIs will form part of this list’s aggregate data.
Alternatively, you can also add profiles in a bulk to a list by checking the box on the left side and selecting Add to list.
Once you have selected the profiles you want to add to a list, you will get a notice to inform you about the number of profiles you are sending to that list and the analysis cost of it. To proceed with this action, you’ll need to press the Save button to confirm the action.
Once you have pressed save, a pop up will appear to ask you to choose a list to include those profiles. In this scenario, you’ll have three options:
- You can include your profiles in another profile list, which will allow you to see aggregated data and overlap. Press Associate and your profiles will be included in the list of your choice.
- You can also add your profiles into an influencers list. This step will require you to associate them with an influencer each first from the profiles tab.
Do so, you have two ways, you can either press on the Create Influencers in the bar on top of the profile names, or by clicking on the Associate with an influencer you can on the column next to the profiles.
If you press on the Create Influencers, a pop up box will appear and your influencers will be created after you press continue.
However, if you select the option associated with an influencer, you won’t be able to make a mass action and you will need to add the influencers one by one manually.
If you want to learn more about associating profiles and influencers you can read our article How to Associate a Profile to an Influencer.
Back to lists, remember that both options enable you to associate profiles with influencers, allowing you to move those newly created influencers into an influencer list. To do this, navigate to the Influencer tab, select the recently added influencers, and click on Add to List to organize them effectively.
Once the pop up appears, you will just need to select the list(s) you wish to add these influencers to and click Associate.
- The third way to include profiles into a list is by going to the List tab in your IRM and pressing Create a List. A pop up will appear and you will need to add some information and choose the type of list you want to create, in this case, you’ll choose a profile list.
Once the list is created, you simply need to add profiles to that list.
You can now start associating profiles to your newly created list. Press in Associate profiles and you will be able to choose from profiles and influencers.
Note: Although profiles cannot be added directly to an influencer list, influencers can be added to a profile list. This allows you to access duplicity and aggregated data insights, which are not available in influencer lists.
Use of a Profile List
A profile list is designed to organize and manage individual social media accounts, such as Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube profiles. It serves as a tool for various tasks before profiles are converted into influencers.
Organization and Analysis
Group profiles for specific purposes, such as audience analysis. Calculate audience duplicity and aggregated data with our advanced analytics.
Aggregated data will show you the metrics and KPIs of all the profiles included in that list combined. You’ll be able to see the amount of followers, quality of followers, average interactions, engagements, etc. This is a valuable tool to predict campaign performance.
The overlap displays the duplicity of followers from the profiles you have selected. It showcases the information in a list so that it's easy to compare the stats of each profile. For instance, if you wanted yo run a campaign that has a wide reach, you would choose profiles that don’t have a high percentage of overlap in followers, so in this case you can choose between @bookswithjax or @ahatforeveryread, because they share an approximated 32% of followers.
Pro tip: Ensure all relevant profiles are captured in one place before bulk actions are performed.
Keep in mind that to add profiles to the outreach, payment or program features, you’ll need to first associate them with an influencer.
How Do I Delete an Profile from a List?
