What Actions Can You Do Within a Proposal?

Discover all the powerful actions you can take within a proposal—edit selections, collaborate with clients, track status updates, and streamline your influencer campaigns with ease.

Once you have created a proposal in Influencity, you can perform various actions to refine, manage, and share your influencer selections. Here’s an overview of what you can do within a proposal:

1. Edit and Manage Proposals

From the general tab of proposals, clicking on the pencil icon allows you to edit and modify details such as the proposal name or description, making it easy to keep your proposals up-to-date.

If you need to duplicate your proposal—whether to present a similar influencer roster to different clients, create variations for different clients or campaigns. or to replicate a successful campaign—you can do it instantly. Simply click on the second item in the row (the copy icon), as shown below, to create a duplicate in just one step.

Lastly, from the general proposals tab, you can also delete a proposal. Simply click the trash icon, and a confirmation pop-up will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion.

Please note that this action is irreversible, so be certain before proceeding.

2. Manage Influencer Profiles

Once you're in the proposal tab, at the top of the screen, you'll see the total number of profiles included, as well as a breakdown of how many have been accepted, discarded, or placed on hold.

You can easily add profiles at any time by clicking on "Add Profiles" and selecting the desired source.

With a generous limit of 1,000 profiles per proposal, you have ample space to build a comprehensive influencer roster while keeping your selection streamlined and manageable.

For more information on how to add profiles to a proposal, you can consult our article How to Add Profiles here.

Keep in mind that most actions can be executed from two convenient locations. You can either click on the Actions button in the upper right corner or, once you’ve selected profiles by ticking the off, a toolbar will appear above the list, offering options such as Choose Status, Create Influencers, Add, Send Email, or Remove

Let’s breakdown what actions you can carry out with each option specifically:

  • Choose Status for All: The Choose Status for All option enables you to update the status of all profiles in the proposal at once, making bulk management quick and efficient. You can choose to accept, discard, set as backup, or reset every profile in just a few clicks.

  • Add Profiles to: This  option allows you to transfer all profiles from a proposal to either an existing list or another proposal. Additionally, you have the flexibility to select specific profiles by ticking them off, so you can add only the ones you need—no need to move the entire proposal if it’s not necessary.

  • Add Influencers to: This feature allows you to add influencers to a list, include them in an outreach campaign, enroll them in a program, or manage their payments.

  • Send Email: You also have the option to send emails to your proposal profiles, with a display menu presenting choices to either compose an email or include profiles in an outreach campaign. Both options enable you to contact them, either individually or in bulk.

3. Filtering Profiles

Proposals containing a large number of profiles greatly benefit from intuitive filtering and search tools, making it easy to find stored profiles efficiently.

If you're looking for profiles with specific characteristics, such as a particular social platform, metrics, or other criteria within your proposal, you can use the filters displayed above the list, next to the search bar, to refine your search accordingly.

Note: You can choose as many filters as needed!

4. Change and Track Status and Engagement

Easily manage profile statuses directly from the status column. With just a click, you can:

  • Accept, discard, or move profiles to backup as needed.

  • Once you have selected a status it instantly updates the view of the new status in real time and lets every user included in the proposal know of this new activity.

  • Automatic Email Notifications: Every user in the proposal receives an email update every 30 minutes if there are any changes or ongoing activity, ensuring everyone stays informed.

  • Built-in Proposal Chat viazzaa Comments: Communicate through the comments with team members or clients through the integrated feature, enabling real-time discussions for smoother collaboration.

In short, you’ll be able to track profile acceptance or rejection with immediate visibility, monitor all updates and modifications to your proposal effortlessly and maintain a complete history log for full transparency and accountability.

5. Share and Collaborate

Effortlessly share your proposal with clients and team members for streamlined collaboration and decision-making. It’s as simple as pressing the Share button.

A pop box will appear and let you send invites by adding your team members’ or clients emails.

Note: You can also copy paste the link, but it only works with people who have already been invited or are users of the brand already.
